Project “Tube project” realised in C# with Unity (2015)

The project “Tube project” is an “endless runner” where the player controls a spacecraft that he directs due to the gyroscope function of his device. The goal is to survive as long as possible by avoiding obstacles on the road.

My work on this project:

IOS Manager:

As a member of the “Tube project” team I was responsible for all the IOS part of the game. Check that the game work normally on the different Apple devices, make the builds and make the internal distribution of the game through Test flight.

Plugins integration:

- Unity ads: To display advertisments to players at certain point of the game.
- Google analytics: To receive information about player actions.

Boosters:

During the game the player can collect some boosters to progress faster.

- Shield: Lets you hit an obstacle without dying.
- Coin Magnet: Attracts all coins to the player.
- Score Multiplier: Generate more score during a certain delay.

Rub an obstacle :

If the player rub an obstacle he gains a boost of score and speed. “Good” if the player passes near an obstacle and “Perfect” when he passes very close to the obstacle.

Tutorial :

At the beginning of the game the player must look on the left and right then up and down to learn how to use the gyroscope of his device to direct his spacecraft. He must then succesfuly passe some obstacles to finally start the game.

Development of internal tools:

I also put tools in place to support the game designer. An editor to add spawn for coins and booster in the game.

UI :

Set up some UI such as the HUD or the game shop.
