Divine Brawl

Project "Divine Brawl" realized in C# with Unity (2019-2020)

The project "Divine Brawl" is a Mobile Multiplayer Online game on Android and iOS.

It's a "rock, paper, Scissors" game where the player can fight other players from all over the world. He will need to choose the good champion with the good class and win easy and funny mini-games.

In the main menu the player can make a team of three champions. He can also upgrade his champions to make them more powerful and upgrade their skills.

In the market the player can buy gold, gems, and "temples" for upgrade their champions and unlock new one.

Network:

The project is developed with a light UDP library called "LiteNetLib" which I already used on other personal projects.

The server is running on a Linux virtual private server based in Irish through Amazon Web Service.

With this project I familiarized myself with AWS interface, I worked on several dedicated virtual servers and some databases in order to improve the production and development needs.

The user interface is responsive on a wide variety of smartphone, like iphone X or Galaxy S10+

Plugins Integration:

-Facebook: The player can connect with his Facebook account to save and recover his progression. All his Facebook friends are also added to his friend list.
-Unity ads: The player can watch an advertisement to have twice free "temple" content.
-Unity IAP: Implementation of Unity IAP plugin to let the player buy gems with real money.
-Unity notification: The player receive notifications when new rewards are availables.
-Firebase: Implementation of Firebase to analyse player behavior and retention.
-I2Localize: Implementation of I2 Localize plugin for french and english translation.

Boat Project

Project “Boat project” realised in C# with Unity (2018)

The project “Boat project” is a personal online project developed with LiteNetLib library where the players are engaged in a battleship.

Network:

Player can choose to create or join a local server.

Upgrade:

When a player is destroyed he drops a crate that contains gold coins, where players can upgrade different statistics:

- Body: Body allows to increase the number of life points, it also modifies the visual of the boat and the maximum level of the other statistics.
- Sail: Sail increases the speed of the boat.
- Steering: Steering increases the boat rotate speed.
- Cannon: Cannon increases the damage.

Visual upgrade:

Players have the ability to change the visual appearance of their boat and the number of their cannon by increasing their body level.

Kitty Journey

Project “Kitty Journey” realised in C# with Unity (2017-2018)

My work on this project:

Setting up the application on Android and IOS stores:

- Store app creation.
- Checking the specifications of each platform before the first upload.
- Creation of the in app purchases.
- Set up store images and presentation video.

Plugins integration:

- Facebook login: The player can connect to Facebook to save or restore his progress.
- Placing friends on the map: When the player is logged in he can see the current level of all his friends who have already played Kitty Journey as well as their star rating in a leaderboard.
- Life Request: The player can request or send lives to his Facebook friends.
- Invite a friend: The player can send a message to his list of Facebook friends to invite them to play the game.

- Unity ads: When the player has no more life he can watch an advertisement to get a life back.

- Unity IAP: Implementation of the Unity IAP plugin to allow the player to buy virtual currency.

- Unity analytics: Set up several events and a funnel to analyze players behavior throughout the game.

- Fabric: A tool for viewing nicely retention

- Playfab: Backend tool allowing, among other things, a simplified use of database. Used to save the online player’s data and generate a leaderboard with his friends.

Implementation of some “blocks” inside the game:

- Minecart: Must be out of the board to be destroyed, move one space to the left or right when a match is done next to it.
- Air balloon: Like the mine cart but moves upwards.
- Slot machine: Collect a coin every time match next to it.
- Tiki: Can only be destroyed with a power up.
- Stone block: Changes color every turn.
- Luggage: Once destroyed, spread randomly 5 catnip on the board.
- Card deck: Block with size of 2×2 and has 10 life points.

Various features:

- Cat Selector: As the game progresses, the player unlocks new cats that he can equip, the cat selector allows the player to have a preview of all the cats he have.

- Inbox: The player can send or request lives to his Facebook friends, all requests are stored in the inbox.
- Drop-down menu: The drop-down menu allows the player to display the list of all the windows of the game: ranking, quests, “Journey map”, inbox, settings.
- Special Offers: For some occasion the player will receive windows of special offers. He can receive promotions see a premium cat that he can only have through this promotion for example the Christmas cat or the Halloween cat.
